Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RentRescore’s website, services, and applications (collectively, the “Service”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

Service Description

RentRescore provides a rent reporting service that reports your rental payment history to credit bureaus with the goal of helping you build credit history. We do not guarantee specific results or improvements to your credit score.

Account Registration

To use our Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Eligibility Requirements

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a legal resident of the United States
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • Have a valid rental arrangement
  • Provide accurate personal information

Subscription and Billing

Subscription Terms

  • The Service is provided on a month-to-month subscription basis for $10 per month
  • Your subscription will continue until terminated
  • There is no minimum commitment period

Payment Terms

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your account
  • Billing occurs monthly on the anniversary of your signup date
  • Payments are non-refundable, except as provided in our 30-day money-back guarantee
  • We reserve the right to change our fees upon notice

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard
  • Upon cancellation, your service will continue until the end of your current billing cycle
  • No refunds will be provided for partial month subscriptions, except within the 30-day guarantee period

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 30 days after subscribing, you may request a full refund of your first month’s payment. To request a refund, you must contact customer support within 30 days of your initial payment.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your rental payments
  • Maintain accurate account and contact information
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to manipulate your credit score through false information
  • Not share your account credentials with others

Data Collection and Privacy

By using our Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that your rental payment information will be reported to credit bureaus.

Service Limitations

  • We report only the rental payment information you provide and verify
  • We do not guarantee any specific increase in credit score
  • Results vary based on individual credit profiles and histories
  • We are not responsible for how credit bureaus use the information we report
  • We cannot remove accurate rental payment information once reported

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of RentRescore and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of RentRescore.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL RENTRESCORE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RentRescore and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Los Angeles County, California.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RentRescore regarding our Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
